Avoca Beach Architectural Hardware and Locksmiths provide architects and builders with door-ware schedules to supply architectural hardware for commercial and residential building projects. Owner Operator, Derek Walter, is known for his vast architectural hardware knowledge and keen eye for detail, so his clients are assured of the supply of quality hardware and locking systems.
From the initial architectural design phase, architectural plans are thoroughly analysed to create a door-ware schedule solution tailored to each building.
All aspects of the plans are taken into account, such as design, door positioning and function, OHS and legal requirements, fire ratings, maximum room capacity parameters and client budget.
After presenting the final quotation and schedule to the builder or architect, Avoca Beach Architectural Hardware and Locksmiths order all items through their hand selected quality suppliers. Hardware is then packed and marked per door so the fitter knows exactly what hardware goes on each door.

The project also required the fitting of quality door closers on fire doors, Britton exit devices (panic bars), Raven door seals, and Padde electric strikes, which are high security products manufactured from stainless steel and designed for use with all access control systems. All bathrooms were fitted with gravity hinges, to enable rescue in case of emergency, as well as Braille signage.
Upon completion, the building was rekeyed with a restricted master key system that allows only authorised persons to purchase new keys from Avoca Beach Architectural Hardware & Locksmiths.
